An exhibition of original paintings by the late
wildlife artist Simon Combes was held at Nature in Art, Twigworth, near
Gloucester from June 14th to July 10th. Another exhibition of Simon's prints
will be held in November. This world renowned wildlife artist
tragically died in December 2004, killed by a buffalo near his home in Kenya. He had been regular exhibitor, artist in
residence and lecturer at Nature in Art since 1989, even when living full-time
in Kenya. This exhibition brings together a selection of over 40 original works,
all held in private collections. It celebrates the life of remarkable artist,
adventurer and conservationist
Edwin and Biddy Collins have shown great generosity once again by donating seven
signed, limited edition, Simon Coombes prints for sale in aid of PCT during the
exhibitions.
Our grateful thanks to Edwin and Biddy and to Simon Trapnell of Nature in Art
for their kindness.
