The following two video clips are of a cheetah running. The clips are actually the same footage, with one playing at normal speed to allow you to see the speed at which a cheetah runs, with the second playing at 25% of the normal speed which makes it much easier to see how the cheetah moves when it runs at speed.

The cheetah in this clip was resting very close to a kill that it had just made with its two brothers. It can be seen panting as it tries to cool down and get its strength back. |
